Highly Recommended add-on product: Our Ready Stop breakaway kit– This will stop the toad in a breakaway event and is needed to tow legally in many States and Canada.

Vehicle note: For the Ford C-Max hybrid Energi you must pull fuse #9 to disconnect the vacuum pump. In testing, this fixes this car's problem and makes it towable with the Ready Brake.

A supplemental tow brake and break away device is required by law in many States and Provinces when towing a vehicle 4 wheels down.
